Multiple-day tour
Cape Crillon is the southernmost point of Sakhalin Island.
The name was given to the cape by the French navigator Jean-Francois de La Perouse in honor of the French general Louis Balbes de Crillon. In the north it is connected by a narrow but precipitous isthmus with the Crillon Peninsula, it the west it is washed by the Sea of Japan, while in the east – by the waters of Aniva Bay of the Sea of Okhotsk. In the south the La Perouse Strait separating Sakhalin and Hokkaido is called a “Museum under the open sky” and this place is really worthy of this name. Nowadays there is an active border checkpoint, a weather station and a lighthouse on Cape Crillon.

6:00 Departure from the railway station of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Vokzalnaya St., 54
7:30 Arrival in Nevelsk, sightseeing tour.
10:30 Arrival at Cape Vindis, Mount Kovrizhka. Stopover for taking photos.
12:00 Arrival at Cape Kuznetsova, stopover, feeding a bear. We will make three more stops in picturesque places along the route.
15-00 Arrival at Cape Crillon. Setting up the campsite.
17:00 Lunch: fish soup, grilled food, salads, vegetables, tea, fruit drink.
20:00 Dinner by the fire (menu to be discussed).
8:00 Breakfast (menu to be discussed).
12:00 Lunch (menu to be discussed).
14:00 Departure from the cape.
20:00 Arrival in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. It is advisable to take sleeping bags, drinking water and snacks with you. Take warm clothes (jacket, pants, sweaters, hats, etc.) for the overnight stay.
